So people were still relatively pumped to hear Necalli's contributions to the game's story. ![]() but things strangely got worse for Necalli. Capcom then introduced more V-Triggers, V-Skills, and even a few moves. Unless you could see the player cam or a name overlay, you couldn't tell a Necalli player by his play. Players quickly found out the best strategies and combos with him, and that was that. Especially early in SF5's life, Necalli suffered from something most characters did: a lack of diversity when it came to play styles. The ancient Aztec warrior had tons of very effective attacks that gave him a wide breadth of options for most situations. As Rooflemonger lays out, Necalli's fault wasn't in his initial design. ![]()
