![]() I would also suggest to also update the drivers (uninstalling the old ones first if possible) for all other hardware especially the Synaptics Touchpad, Broadcom wireless and Realtek NIC, as these drivers appear older. The old drivers first using "Uninstall a program) and then install the HP Quick Launch buttons from the following link: I tried to change the battery twice (was a 2 Pack of brand new) still nothing. I have the ENE CIR Receiver driver installed (41645) and with this driver, the only thing that works is the button to switch to the external display. I would suggest at this time to turn off the driver verifier (Start > type verifier in the Search programs and files box and press "Enter" > Delete existing settings > Finish) and then update the drivers for the HP Quick Launch buttons (uninstall Just like the title says, my mini remote control won't work for nothing, I have windows 7 ultimate. The timestamp on the HpqRemHid.sys is "Mon Jun 18 18:13:11 2007" so this driver should be updated if possible. The HpqRemHid.sys is a driver for the HP Quick Launch buttons. However the driver that may actually be causing the crash is the HpqRemHid.sys. ![]() The minidump file showed a DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION probably caused by the HIDCLASS.SYS. ![]()
